How Tabayyun handles your data.
Plain facts about what is sent to AI services, what is stored, and how long.
Text you submit
Text, links and claims are sent to OpenAI, which searches the web and writes the assessment. Nothing you type is stored unless you are signed in.
Images and videos
Your file is read on our server to find text (OCR), then removed. It is never saved. The text found, and up to 6 small still frames from a video, are sent to OpenAI.
The image, or a short video (under 60 seconds and 50 MB), may be sent to Sightengine to estimate whether it is AI-generated.
If you create an account
We store your name, your email and a scrambled version of your password (never the password itself). Signed-in analyses are saved to your history: the result card, not your uploaded file.
Saved analyses are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Your controls
You can delete one saved analysis, or all of them, from the History page. You can also download everything stored about you, or delete your account and all its data.
Please note
Tabayyun is a university graduation project. Do not submit private or sensitive information. Results are AI-assisted estimates and can be wrong.
